The last stop on the Woodbridge / Lake Ridge brewery review
tour is in the Lake Ridge area, almost a stone’s throw from Lake Ridge Park and
Marina along the Occoquan Reservoir. Their names fits their location. Waters End.
Located in the Dillingham Square shopping center (directions here) and
across the parking lot from a long-standing Lake Ridge bar/restaurant;
Brittany’s. Waters End opened September
of 2016 and is opened 5 days (Wed-Sun) a week.
Their hours and other information about events, etc. can be found on
their website (below).
Just a simple blog where I can post my thoughts, good or bad on the things in my life, my experiences out in the world and whatever else I want to freaking write about.

Woodbridge / Lake Ridge Beer - Growling Bear Brewing Company
Continuing West on my reviews of Woodbridge / Lake Ridge
breweries I stop to drop off a parcel at the US Post Office just off Prince
William Parkway, and with it being a rather warm day, decided a nice beer would hit the spot. Good thing I didn’t have to go
far. Located in the Prince William
Commons industrial park is Growling Bear Brewing Company (directions here). While it is the smallest of the breweries in
these reviews (so far) that should not discourage you in coming. Remember the saying, big things come in small
packages.

Woodbridge / Lake Ridge Beer - Ornery Beer Company Public House
Ok… If you are ever in a situation where you are playing
local trivia and the following question is asked: “What is the first brewpub
established in Prince William County?” I
have the answer for you!! It was and is
Ornery Beer Company and Public House. Located
adjacent to Opitz Boulevard in the Potomac Festival (click here for map) shopping center. The
county’s first brewpub opened in August of 2015 and I was glad to have visited that opening week
to sample some of the beers and food. As
I sit here typing out this blog post some things have changed since that
opening week. For instance, the area
where my wife and I sat that opening week is now a dartboard area for patrons
and PWDA (Prince William Dart Association) members to throw a few… darts and
beers that is.
